Special emphasis will be given to maintaining an AVID portfolio, increasing rigor in tutorials, preparing for personal statement writing, best reading and writing practices for college entrance exams, planning a College Junior Road Trip, and more!

Senior Teacher Series

Senior AVID Teacher Series is for new (or experienced) AVID 12 Elective teachers. This series will include analyzing students' transcripts, the college application process, FAFSA/CADAA and financial aid, financial literacy, latest information from colleges, testing updates, the transition from tutorials to study groups, submitting SIRs, conquering Senioritis, guest speakers, and more! This series is a one-stop shop for everything senior AVID teachers need to help their students successfully transition into college.
