Social Impact Handover
It is likely that plans for handing things over such as volunteers , community explorers , new staff posts, physical activity interventions and Microgrants will have been made in lots of different groups and forums. Holding a Social Impact Handover straight after the event, when the social afterglow is still bright, is a great time for the original team to take stock of what has been achieved to date. A Gameplan Social Impact Handover Plan pulls together planned actions for continuing community engagement beyond the event. For example, the Community Engagement Planning Hand , and Co-created Physical Activity Interventions are all likely to have outstanding actions which need to be addressed to continue community engagement and its benefits.
Produce a Gameplan Social Impact Handover Plan to sustain activities and benefits into the future.
How Revisit the Gameplan
Invite the team of people involved in the Collaboration Kick-Off , as well as the delivery team to take part in a Social Impact Handover . Share what social impacts have been achieved and the aims for future impact. Revisit and use your initial Gameplan Collaboration Kick-Off Agenda and social impact Gameplan to help establish the handover agenda. Ask those involved to report back on: • What was delivered? • How did things go with achieving specific social impact objectives? • Who benefitted? In what way? How many people were engaged? • The plan for sustaining social impacts and community engagement.
