Last year, you and over 535 community donors raised enough funds on Library Giving Day to provide our annual grant of $45,000 to support the library’s signature system-wide Summer @ Your Library (S@YL) program! The 2022 S@YL three-month program was a success for readers of all ages. Donations from Library Giving Day 2022 made hundreds of fun and engaging educational activities possible. Below are a few highlights: • Printing of S@YL Quest game boards and materials that enabled over 3,000 people to participate and further their learning. • The opportunity to choose two books to keep when reaching milestones in the S@YL Quest, as well as grand prizes including a Chromebook, STEM and early learning kits to help foster kindergarten readiness. • Commissioning performances that celebrate equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging in service areas with high need.
