Child’s garden for verses in works at Russell Library

Thesocietyisaskingthetownshiptolook at an in-kind contribution to the reading garden project by providing chain-link securityfencingandalsohelpinfuturewith publicizing the rain barrel sale and other fundraisingefforts.

RUSSELL | Before spring is even here plans are abloom for a new addition to thenewRussellPublicLibrary. Lindley McPhail presented township councilwithareportfromtheRussellDistrict HorticulturalSocietyaboutthegroup’splans for“planting”aChildren’sFantasyReading Garden at the library. “The whole garden is intended to keep a child’simaginationbubbling,”McPhailsaid. The society is creating a design for a combinedoutdoorreadingandplayareafor childrenandtheirparentsorguardians.The
