PARTNER TRADE RENEWABLES IS DISTRIBUTING THE GLOBAL BRAND’S ON- AND OFF-GRID INVERTERS, BATTERIES AND SOLAR CONTROLLERS ACROSS THE ISLAND OF IRELAND… SRNE Solar launches in Ireland

Trade Renewables has established a partnership to distribute global brand SRNE Solar’s range of controllers, inverters and batteries across the island of Ireland. Headquartered in Co Antrim with offices in Co Kildare and GB, Trade Renewables will handle sales, distribution, customer service, training and warranty support for the brand. An experienced and knowledgeable team will provide a high level of service and support to customers, with the company directors’ involvement in solar dating back to 2008. Founded in 2009, SRNE operates a modern 40,000sqm production facility in the high-tech district of Shenzhen. A long-established, well-respected solar brand in China with its products sold globally across Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas, an upcoming IPO on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange highlights its strong foundations and commitment to future expansion. SRNE’s wide range of products includes on- and off-grid inverters, batteries and solar controllers. Hybrid solar inverters include single- and three-phase options, with all inverters up to 20kW running off low- voltage batteries to keep installations

cost effective while delivering peak performance. Jonathan Bell, Managing Director, says, “Trade Renewables is also supplying a range of off-grid inverters from SRNE which are unique to the Irish market. These inverters have an internal changeover switch, meaning that they are never connected in parallel with the grid when the inverter is producing power. “This allows them to be connected in a wide range of applications without complex approvals as they can never export to the grid. They are very cost effective and provide a great solution for cabins, glamping pods, residential and agricultural buildings.” The new distribution partnership has been well received, with Lagan Homes installing SRNE’s solar inverter and battery system in all new-build houses, aligning with its goals to generate cost savings and boost energy efficiency for homeowners. “A team from SRNE recently visited one of the Lagan Homes sites to see the new equipment in action,” says Jonathan,

“with this contract representing a clear vote of confidence in the quality of its products.” Looking forward, Trade Renewables is aiming to build on the partnership by rolling out SRNE’s expanding product range to the Irish market. Recent additions include 50-60kW commercial and industrial inverters and large high-voltage battery systems, while a new industrial all-in-one BOX system will launch soon. Combining a commercial inverter and batteries in a single unit, the new BOX system will reduce installation time and costs as the pre-populated cabinet comes pre-wired and can be easily delivered to site. With a strong focus on R&D and over 250 company patents, SRNE’s pipeline of innovative products shows no signs of waning.
