Membership We listen to the Club Membership and make changes based on how you use your Club! Brunch Adjustments Brunch has been so interesting for us this season! We thought with the marina now open that we would have folks boating by for lunch, so we added hours to Sunday. You will see that we are going back to our basic Brunch hours 10 am-2 pm for Sundays, and we are having a buffet through May 15 th as you all are coming to Brunch early and often. Chef Jono is also offering a few popular a la carte items so if you do not want the buffet you still have some lovely brunch-lunch options. Thanks to our Board for greeting at Brunch. We brought back our tradition and you are giving the Board your feedback, which we appreciate! You will also see some Bridge Members greeting at Brunch in the coming weeks. Greeters are available from around 11:00 am through 12:30 pm at Sunday Brunches. Feel free to give them your comments about any and all things happening around your Club! Open Fla-mingle Table

With the new system in place for reservations we are now evaluating a new way to manage our Open Table on Friday Evenings. If you want to have dinner with other members, we now have a Club Event for an Open Fla-mingle Table of eight at 7:00 pm as well as 7:30 pm on Fridays. You can go to the website or your phone app now. You can also call the Receptionist and say that you would like to sit at the Open Table. Be sure to tell her if you would like the 7:00 pm table or the 7:30 pm table. As with any new procedure we will have some growing pains so be patient! Our Membership Coordinator Many of you may know Cynthia Hultquist, our Membership Coordinator. Some folks have asked me if Cynthia is still with us as we have capped some memberships. I can safely say that Cynthia is as busy as ever! We will be having Summer Memberships available, as well as Full Memberships if someone also joins Freedom Boat Club AND we will have Equity Memberships available until we sell all of them. Also, many new residents to the area are still asking for tours of our Club. We have a waitlist for Full and Social Memberships. Membership Updates With our Club getting to our cap on membership as well as everyone returning for season and with trying to get to our full staffing levels, we will slow down on our acceptance of new members. We want to give all our current members the best service possible. Please welcome the following new members to our Club! Miles & Penny Milligan joined MIYC and Freedom Boat Club on March 4 th . Richard & Linda Watson joined MIYC on March 30 th as Equity members referred by the Sergis. As you can see, the Member Recruiting Members is still in effect so bring your friends who want Full Membership and Freedom Boat Club or Equity Membership to your Club! Calendars for Summer and Next Season Mark your calendar for our Semi-Annual Meeting on Tuesday April 26 th . There will be more information about this meeting during the month. Be sure to click on the links for the rest of season calendar as well as next year’s draft calendar! We want you to be able to attend as many of our Club Events as possible! We also will be adding other events to FY2023 as you all really like the Fla-
