Live Long & Prosper Safety Contest Update by Karen Yardley Join us each month starting September 1st as we kick off the Live Long and Prosper (LLP) safety contest for an other six months! We received a lot of feedback that employees were having fun and wanted us to continue the contest, so we’re back with some minor changes which were also suggestions from Crest’s employees! Since the beginning, our goal has been to educate, engage (as part of the WAVE program!) and have fun. So we will continue to challenge our employees each month with safety related questions, or “what’s wrong with this picture”, and maybe even a crossword or word search, all related to safety here at work or at home. We will continue to guarantee at least one winner each month but there could be more if certain challenges are met - such as a certain number of entries or a certain number of correct entries. We will let you know when and what the challenge is for that month. We’ll have bigger and better prizes this time around too! You will still have the op- portunity to win a $25 Crest Store gift certificate or you could have your choice from a short list of gift cards to lo- cal businesses, like restaurants or gas stations. You’ll also get your very own “Live Long & Prosper” t-shirt to wear as part of your Crest uniform. We will still have a “big” prize at the end of the six months - a $100 gift card to a lo- cal business- but we’ll also have two “runner-ups” and they will each get a $25 gift card. We have had over 200 correct contest entries from the first six months of the contest and the winner of the $100 gift card was Mark Hussey, A shift Production! Congratulations to the June Live Long and Prosper safety contest winner Dan Shipyor, West Warehouse and July’s LLP winner - Deb Worley, A Shift Quality Assurance Department!
