MikaëlGervais,ofthePrédateursdeLaPêche,walkedawaywiththreeawardswhen

the National Capital Junior Hockey League honoured its best recently.

In addition to being the top scorer during the regular season, Gervais was named the

Most Valuable Player andRookie of the Year. TeammateMikaël Sabourinwas named the

Most Improved Player.

League president Ian McRae, of Vankleek Hill, was chosen Executive of the Year.

Meanwhile, St-Isidore picked up two honours. Mathieu Desforges shared the Best

Defenceman trophy with Kentt Coburn of Cumberland, while Jean-François Ducharme

and Mathieu Sauvé were named Coaches of the Year.

Best Defensive Forward was Francis Legault, of Embrun, Best Goaltender was Chris

Telford, of Rockland, while Simon Forgues, of Cumberland, was selected as the Most

Sportsmanlike Player.

Embrun, which was the best defensive team, won the regular season title.
