Unopened road allowance known as “Green Street”, located along Mill Street in the Village of Curran in the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet, described as being Part of Lot 9, Concession 7, in the former Township of North Plantagenet, in the County of Prescott, designated as Part 1 on Registered Plan 46R- 5012 (PIN 54110-0145 LT T). Tenders must be submitted using the form provided by the Township and must be accompanied by a deposit representing at least 10 percent (10%) of the tender amount in the form of money order, bank draft or certified cheque by a bank or a trust corporation payable to the Corporation of the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet. The purchaser will be required to pay for the amount tendered, the land transfer tax as well as for any taxes and other applicable fees. The highest or any offer may not necessarily be accepted. The municipality makes no representations regarding the title to or any other matters relating to the land being sold. No investigation regarding the utility servicing, quality of soil and environmental review has been performed by the Township. OFFICE CLERK Ivaco Rolling Mills, a major steel manufacturer in the Hawkesbury, Ontario region, is seeking an Office Clerk with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience, to fill a vacancy in its company. Applicants should have a university degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field with 2 - 5 years of experience in various clerical roles. Strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft based applications are assets. Applicants must as well have excellent people skills and communication skills. Bilingualism will also be an advantage for this role. The ideal candidate will have varied experience in departments such as accounting, purchasing, payroll and shipping. The candidate must be adaptive and flexible to be able to meet the job expectations.
