that could provide a platform of services to owners and re- tailers in Central New Jersey. When it comes to specializing in retail real estate, most of those service providers are located in Northern and Southern New Jersey, New York, or in Phila- delphia Pennsylvania. What started out as a local company has grown beyond just concentrating its efforts in a central geographic area, as we have recently reached across the Delaware River by securing our Brokers License in the Commonwealth of Penn- sylvania.

We opened our doors in Feb- ruary of 2008 in a very robust real estate market. Consumer demand was off the charts, and the economy was thriving. Our expectations for success could not have been any higher. Suddenly, six months later the banks stopped lending. The economy tanked and the real estate market fell flat. We eval- uated our options and made the decision to stay the course and forge ahead, while competitors either closed their operations or merged with other firms. That decision, or what most would refer to as a “gamble”,

paid off as Remco continues to increase its transaction vol- ume, market share, and gross commissions earned year after year. Our hard work ethic and commitment to providing the highest level of accountabil- ity to our clients has been rewarded, as Landlords and Retailers employ our services on a repeat basis, throughout multiple markets. Recent transactions include; the leasing of 3,700 s/f to En- terprise Car Rental in Lodi, NJ, the leasing of 4,000 s/f to Sher- win Williams in East Hanover,

NJ, the leasing of 6,300 s/f to StraussAuto in Toms River, NJ, the leasing of 6,500 s/f to Napa Auto Parts in Bridgewater, NJ, the leasing of a former Check- ers Restaurant in Old Bridge, NJ to Dunkin Donuts, the sale of a free standing, 7,000 s/f. former Block Buster building in Middlesex, NJ, and the sale of the 55,000 s/f Hillsboro Club Plaza Shopping Center in Hill- sborough, NJ. Remco is in an expansion mode, and has recently doubled the size of our offices. We are ac- tively seeking full time agents who are licensed in New Jersey & Pennsylvania to join our team in order to support our ever growing list of representa- tion assignments. n Murray Hill, NJ — Jones Lang LaSalle has completed the sale of the 25,000 s/f 460 MountainAve. for Linde LLC, a member of The Linde Group. The gases and engineer- ing company sold the property to Erickson Living, developer and manager of continuing care retirement communities, for an undisclosed amount. The seller, Linde LLC, was represented by Dan Loughlin and JimMedenbach , manag- ing directors, both with JLL. The buyer, Erickson Living, was represented by Kenneth Lundberg , senior VP, with NAI James E Hanson . “Linde tapped Jones Lang LaSalle to sell the building and surrounding land at 460 Mountain Avenue as the firm no longer had plans for the property,” said Loughlin. “This was a terrific opportunity for a discriminating investor, given the site is located adjacent to Route 78 and directly across from the famous Bell Labs.” The 25,000 s/f 460 Mountain Ave. is located on five acres of land at the intersection of MountainAvenue and Glenside Rd. in Murray Hill. n Jones Lang LaSalle sells 460 Mountain Ave. in Murray Hill the overall vacancy rate.
