ECAUCUS, NJ — Hartz Mountain Industries’ first quarter of 2013 leas-

344,419 s/f, including 126,086 s/f to US Display Group and 70,542 to Full Throttle Films in Secaucus and 58,775 s/f to Atlantic Health System in Whippany. Renewals were also strong with Pier One Imports renew- ing 634,000 s/f in Baltimore, MD and Preferred Display re- newing 84,645 s/f in Clifton.

Michael Nevins , Onyx Equities’ senior VP of leasing, represented the firm in the following notable deals: • Kraemer Properties, Inc. renewed its 25,200 s/f lease at 1925 Swarthmore Avenue in Lakewood. Onyx negotiated the transaction directly with the tenant. • Valley National Bank signed a long-term renewal for 21,334 s/f at 2 Jericho Plaza in Jericho, NY. CBRE senior VP David Leviton represented Valley National. • NewmarkGrubbKnight Frank signed a long-term, 12,246 s/f renewal at Meadows Office Complex, located at 201 Route 17 North in Rutherford. The real estate firm, which was self represented, also re- newed its lease for 3,112 s/f of space on a separate floor. • At 1985 Swarthmore Av- enue in Lakewood, Quality Communication Systems, Inc. signed a 12,500 s/f renewal. • BT Systems inked a long- term, 10,896 s/f renewal at 30 Montgomery Street in Jersey City. Jones Lang LaSalle VP Dan De Palma represented the tenant.
