I look at each person as a whole and take all things into consideration when developing a treatment plan in order to improve function and achieve patient goals. I am someone who relies heavily on my hands/ manual skills to evaluate and treat each patient. I have been working in Outpatient practice for 12 years, specializing in sports medicine and Orthopedics. I have been an Orthopedic Certified Specialist since 2011 and have taken many continuing education courses focused on advanced manual therapy and treatments of the spine and extremities. I also have additional experience treating swimmers and patients with TMJ disorders. My proudest moments as a PT are being able to help patients achieve their goals. Returning patients to the highest level of function possible and allowing them to live their lives to the fullest. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children. I enjoy exercising, shopping and going to concerts or the theater.

I earned my Athletic training certification prior to receiving my Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from The University of Pittsburgh. Private practice allows more one-on-one patient care. The hip and knee joints are incredible marvels of the human body. At times they have to withstand up to 6 times your body weight in force. The knee joint is the second most complicated joint in the body and has to move in many directions including forward, backward, side to side and rotation. These different movements are called accessory motions and are needed for normal walking, running and bending.
