CASE STUDY
FACT: By adding a new play environment , Brighton Day Academy is able to help children reach important developmental milestones .
The play area for children 2-12 years old includes a shaded steel structure, which is packed with safe and challenging play components like slides, climbers, and panels. The shade structure not only keeps the play area cool, it also protects the condition of the play equipment. The space is completed with a bubble climber, tea cup spinner, and a climb and discover cave. For after school kids, they chose a structure designed with lots of components for physical activity. With no defined entry point, children will continually find new ways to engage in play with their peers. Research shows play directly correlates to brain development. The new play environments help foster opportunities for play, which help children reach important developmental milestones.
