Strategic Enrollment Planning An on-going, data-driven planning process that engages all institutional divisions and departments in strategic thinking and coordinated planning to achieve measurable enrollment outcomes, including retention and student success. The aim of the planning process is to continuously align the institution’s mission with its changing internal and external environments for the long-term fiscal and enrollment health of the institution. Student Engagement The time and energy students devote to educationally-sound activities, inside and outside the classroom. URM Under-represented minorities/ethnicities as defined by the U.S. Census: African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, Pacific Islander. IPEDS uses this definition.
