The foreseeable impact of declining property values in Paris over the past year and a half is becoming a reality; prices have nearly reached a point of equilibrium between buyer and seller positions.
In concrete terms, this has resulted in a marked increase in sales volumes for us since the beginning of 2024, after the sharp decline, in 2023, from the very dynamic post-Covid period.

In Provence and Deauville, after the post-Covid rush to buy quality properties and then a less dynamic year of 2023, our agencies are also seeing signs of a recovery.
In Paris, our foreign buyers, always dependable, participated in 33% of our sales exceeding €3 million in recent months, and 47% of those above €10 million.
The sudden interest rate hikes in 2023 were certainly a factor, like a catalyst sparking a reversal of economic power, now in favour of buyers after the several-years-long seller’s market. But the great majority of our buyers in Paris do not rely on bank loans, and virtually all of our sales are concluded without conditions precedent for obtaining loans. Our market should thus regain its normal fluidity in 2024. Certainly, by its very nature, the Parisian high-quality and luxury property market supply is and will remain structurally and quite substantially fixed below demand. Our confidence in the market is reflected in the expansion of our network. Having recently opened new agencies in Saint-Germain-en-Laye and rue de Turenne, we are now enlarging the Daniel Féau Saint-Honoré agency and moving Daniel Féau Neuilly to more spacious offices on the corner of avenue Achille Peretti and rue de l’Hôtel de Ville.
