Ingredients: • 3 cups water • 1 cup sugar • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (5-6 lemons) • 1 tbs lemon zest (optional) • 5 cups ice • 1 lemon, sliced (garnish) • Maraschino cherries

1 cup of sugar to a boil in medium saucepan. 2. Cook until sugar is completely dissolved. Cool completely. 3. Blend the 2 remaining cups of water, simple syrup, lemon juice, lemon zest (optional), and ice in blender. 4. Pour into glasses and garnish with lemon slices and cherries. Serve immediately.
