T here is a remarkable transformation taking place in the heart of Israel’s southern desert, and international travelers have a captivating new reason to visit. The majestic Negev Desert has officially received international recognition as a certified wine region, rightfully taking its place alongside legendary wine- producing giants like Napa Valley, Bordeaux, Champagne, and Chianti. This prestigious designation means that bottles produced in this unique terroir will now proudly carry the “Negev” label, signaling to wine lovers everywhere that a new, world-class destination has arrived on the global wine map.
