This donation will be used by the Andy Gump Foundation to provide permanent water services to their educational facility in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, Pabellon de los Ninos (Children’s Pavillion). The facility will provide education and rehabilitation for physically and mentally challenged children who typically do not attend school. The members of District 32 added $1,000 to the provincial donation to present a total of $5,000 to Dave and Brenda Godmere. Dalkeith’s own Connor MacLeod played 8 games with the Hawkesbury Hawks and 32 with the La Tuque Loups before coming back with the Glens for the 2014-2015 season.

shots while unleashing 15 on the Wolves’ cage. That strategy was effective and the Glens added three goals, thanks to Connor MacLeod, Bradley Gabbour and Ryan Allen (power play goal). Both goalies shut the door in the third and the Glens were able to keep their lead alive, on route to a 4-2 victory, their sixth of the season. With 13 points in the standings, the Glens are just one point above the Wolves and the Winchester Hawks, sitting in second place in the St. Lawrence division. Tonight, the Wolves are once again prowling in Alexandria and it will be an interesting Hal- loween evening at the Palace. The Glens are going back on the road on November 2 for a game in Gananoque. The Islanders are playing the top team in the Rideau division the night before, the Prescott Flyers, which might end up as a blessing for the Glens.
