2022 Research Yield Book

yields. When we compared the 401 to the check, we saw an increase of 7.7 bpa and an ROI of 535%. When we combined the Seaweed extract with the 401 product we still realized a yield improvement but not as much as the 401 by itself. No the addition of the seaweed extract did not make yield go backwards but field variability made it appear that way however, with the yield increase of 3.0 bpa the NET revenue was still at $8.12 per acre. When we added Humic acid to the starter fertilizer we saw an increase in yield of 7.7 bpa and an increase in Net revenue of $50.26/ac. We feel that all three combinations are viable options to help improve yields and profitability data from these trials in figure 19.
