Helping Us Keep Everyone Safe Winter is also cold and flu season. To protect our residents, we kindly ask that visitors with any cough, cold or fever please wait until they are well before visiting and use the hand sanitiser provided when you arrive. These small steps help keep our whole community healthy. A few quiet safety reminders for the season too: in their efforts to stay warm, older people can be at greater risk of small accidents trips over loose blankets, burns from heaters or scalds from hot water. Our team keeps a careful eye on heaters, walkways and water temperatures so that staying cosy never comes at the cost of staying safe. We are pleased to announce a new opportunity for families and visitors to enjoy a delicious meal during your visits to Holmwood Aged Care! For just $15, you can choose from our daily menu and savour a delightful dining experience alongside your loved ones. How It Works: • Meal Purchase: To enjoy a meal, please purchase a meal voucher in advance at the administration office. Payment is required in cash at this time. • Present Your Voucher: Once you have your voucher, simply present it to our chef or cook when you arrive, and they will prepare your selected meal from the days options. • Dining Areas: Please note that meals must not be consumed in the main dining rooms. We invite you to utilize our other common areas to enjoy your meal comfortably. • Important Reminder: To ensure a smooth experience, please remember that meals must be purchased in advance. No voucher means no meal, so be sure to secure yours ahead of time! For further information or to purchase your meal voucher, please stop by our administration team or reception desk.
