It offers the potential for expansion and further growth. We are seeking to make the key senior appointment to the role of Director of Estate Development. In this newly created role the postholder leads on the transformation of the Group’s physical environment through a £170m plus capital development programme resulting in the creation of a purpose built campus in the City Centre and the extensive redevelopment of another major campus whilst deriving the best possible value from the Manchester College’s surplus property assets. We are seeking an exceptional leader with a proven track record of developing and implementing estates consolidation and development programmes across large-scale, diverse and complex property portfolios for industry-leading organisations. Positive, driven and a natural collaborator, you will possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The role calls for an individual who is adept at providing leadership at the wider strategic level whilst having a proven track record of delivering complex mixed-use development projects in excess of £50m in value. This is an exciting opportunity for an estates professional with a proven track record in the delivery of major capital development programmes to play a leading role in the creation of an education estate that will offer a high-quality and inspiring learning environment for current and future generations.
