FOOD DISTRIBUTION‌‌ PROGRAMS‌

FRESH PRODUCE‌ Fresh, locally grown produce will be available on the 1 and 3 Thursday of each month, starting at 11:00 a.m. until supplies last at the Neighborhood Services Office. st rd With the generous support of four local farmers, our community can receive fresh, healthy produce at no cost. This program is designed to support families and promote access to nutritious food for all residents. We would like to extend a special thank you to the local farmers who continue to partner with us and make this program possible. Their ongoing support and dedication truly make a difference in our community.

In collaboration with Second Harvest Food Bank and Orange County Food Bank, fresh and non-perishable food is provided at the Placentia Neighborhood Services office. Food distributions are held the 1 and 3 Tuesday of the month and non-perishable items are available daily on an emergency basis. st rd The City of Placentia, in collaboration with ICNA Relief, organizes a diaper distribution event on the 4 Thursday of each month. This initiative aims to provide families with young children access to essential diaper supplies. FREE ZUMBA

Get moving and have fun at our FREE Zumba classes! Join instructor Sarai for an energetic workout filled with great music, easy-to-follow moves, and lots of fun. All ages and fitness levels are welcome, just bring your energy and get ready to dance! Whitten Community Center Monday - Thursday; 9:15 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. BAILE FOLKLORICO Join us every Tuesday from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. for a Free Baile Folklorico class taught by instructor Gloria. Experience the beauty and tradition of folklorico dance while staying active and having fun. All skill levels are welcome, no experience needed!

BACKPACK FOR SUCCESS‌ Thursday, July 16th, 2026 | 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. The Neighborhood Office holds an annual Backpack event where parents can pre-register their school-aged children who attend PLYUSD or reside in the City of Placentia. The child will receive a backpack containing school supplies. First-come, first-served basis. Priority to Placentia students and residents.
