In these verses he tells th e fact of his earth ly m inistry draw ing to a. close. He is about to leave for hia heavenly reward. This should arouse Timothy to a g reater m inistry. II. Concerning Demas, Luke, Mark and Alexander, 9-15. Explain th is pas­ sage showing th a t P aul gives in stru c­ tions concerning his personal affairs and work. III. P au l’s message of th e never for­ saking Lord. This passage shows th a t although all men forsake us th e Lord never forsakes.
