Marlaine mentions Director 5 Lynda Grenier, Director 7 Jinny Rodrigue, and Senior Director 5 Donna MacDonald—three team members who are excellent examples of leaders making a difference. “Jinny leads by example,” Marlaine says. “She sets goals and works toward them. She’s teaching us! Lynda has struck a strong leadership role in her team, with team meetings every morning. Donna was our first Senior Director and has over 160 personal enrollees. “These are the kind of leaders we want. We want each of our team members to bring their own strengths and become the leaders they are capable of being—to be the best of what they already are.” By fostering leadership in their team, Richard and Marlaine are fulfilling their own mission. For the past two months, Richard and Marlaine’s Melaleuca business has kept them so busy that they haven’t had time for much else. “We certainly don’t mind,” Richard says. “We love our mission. We’re thrilled that there’s such a huge demand for Melaleuca wellness products! We have so many people to talk to, get acquainted with, and find their needs. We’re teaching our team to do the same. “Still,” he laughs, “at some point I need to go work in the garden!” This is just one more chapter in Richard and Marlaine’s years-long mission to help people improve their physical and financial wellness.
