For Arthur James, founder of Progressive Screens and inventor of the MagnaTrack system, innovation was born from a simple but powerful truth: he hated the product he was selling. “I truly almost hated my product that I was producing for 17 years,” Arthur says, without hesitation. “It was typical within the industry. Cold weather? The fabric contracts. Then you get service calls, hang-ups, rewraps, pull-outs. All the things that are normal in this space.”
Normal, maybe. Acceptable? Not to him.
