Those principles aren’t framed on a wall. They are built into how DSI operates. Into how products are engineered. Into how partners are supported. And into how the company plans not just for the next year, but for the next generation. Setting the Standard by Solving What Others Wouldn’t In the early days, DSI wasn’t competing on price or availability. It was solving problems others didn’t yet know how to address. “Other manufacturers didn’t know how to fabricate different styles or how to make gates out of vinyl,” Graber explains. “So we set a standard for quality products, including adding aluminum inside posts and reinforcing gates to make them stronger from the inside out.” That insistence on structural integrity became a defining characteristic of the brand. Rather than accepting limitations, DSI engineered around them, quietly raising expectations for what outdoor living products could and should be.
