INCLEMENT WEATHER GUIDELINES FOR ASSOCIATES Associates staying over due to inclement weather or other emergencies are expected to abide by the following guidelines: 1. Approval for stay-over may be given by a GM or AGM only. Department Heads may not approve a stay for themselves or other Associates. Associates must check in and out through the front desk; late check-outs cannot be granted. 2. Only Associates of the same gender may be assigned per guestroom. Associates are required to stay in their own registered rooms when off duty and should not loiter around the hotel. No pets or other unauthorized visitors, including family members and friends are allowed in the room. 3. Guestroom does not include pay-for-view movies, phone calls, room service or other incidentals. Room Service may be ordered at the Associate’s own expense. Meals will be provided through the meal ticket program and provided by the GM or AGM. 4. No smoking in guest rooms or balconies. 5. No alcoholic beverages may be consumed on premises whether on or off duty. Associates may not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at any time during their stay. 6. If an Associate is called in the night before their shift to ensure proper staffing, the Associate will receive meal accommodation for breakfast and lunch the following day. If the Associate is asked to stay overnight after working a shift, an evening meal will be provided. Associate Meal Tickets may be distributed at no charge to the Associate as meal accommodation. 7. Stay-Over Associates may be called upon at any time during their stay to assist in any department. i.e., Restaurant, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Engineering, etc. Clock in and out procedures apply when assistance is needed. Associates may not return to their room at any time while clocked in and on duty. 8. At all times, we require that Associates dress and act professionally. To avoid disturbing our guests, please ensure that there are no loud noises or music in your room. Remember that we are a team, and fellow Associates will be servicing your room. We ask that you leave it in an orderly fashion. 9. A member of Management or MOD will be allowed access to your room for security purposes if necessary. 10. Associates that stay over in a guest room must sign the Stay-Over Policy Form .
