SLIP RESISTANT SHOES POLICY

Refer to OPS SOP# 800-20 (SAFETY FOOTWEAR S4C PROGRAM) and OPS SOP #800-20.1 (SHOES FOR CREWS PAYROLL DEDUCTION AND ORDER FORM) on SharePoint for more details. This program is designed to improve safety and reduce slips/trips & falls within the workplace. Atrium Hospitality is committed to safety and supports a voluntary payroll deduction program to assist Associates with the purchase of slip-resistant shoes that will help achieve this goal. Associates in Front Desk, Guest Service, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Engineering departments must wear closed-toed, closed-heeled, rubber-soled, slip-resistant shoes while on duty. Atrium Hospitality policy does not dictate the specific brand of shoes to be purchased; however, Atrium supports a voluntary Shoes for Crews® program allowing an Associate to order through Atrium Hospitality’s purchasing program and to pay for the shoes th rough a voluntary payroll deduction. The Shoes for Crews® program is designed for Associate’s direct benefit by allowing Associates to purchase slip-resistant shoes that they may not otherwise be able to afford, and to spread-out the cost through the payroll deduction option. In addition, by allowing Associates to buy through this program, Atrium Hospitality may be able to provide shoes at a reduced price.
