COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE TO ATRIUM HOSPITALITY SAFETY PROGRAMS Atrium Hospitality is committed to, involved with, and has the expectation of providing our employees with a safe and healthful workplace. Our workplace safety program will be incorporated as the standard of practice for this organization. Compliance with these safe work expectations will be required of all employees as part of the Atrium culture and core beliefs. Our company focus holds all employees accountable for safety performance equal with quality and operational performance. Atrium Hospitality strongly believes that its employees are its greatest asset, and your safety is our greatest responsibility. Throughout the Company, safety has as high a priority on management's time and attention as all matters which are essential to a successful operation. While supervisors anticipate and take prudent action necessary to remove conditions which can result in injury to employees, most of the success of a safety program depends upon all Associates making safety a primary and continuing priority and responsibility. Carelessness regarding safety endangers both Associates and guests and is not tolerated. Atrium Hospitality encourages you to accept and fulfill your individual responsibility, to think and act safely and to conduct yourself in accordance with safety rules. It encourages you to help remind your co-workers to work safely and to point out unsafe acts to others. If there is any doubt in your mind about the safety of your job or any other unsafe conditions which you may observe, you should consult your supervisor immediately. REMEMBER. . . SAFETY FIRST, LAST AND ALWAYS! COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE TO ATRIUM HOSPITALITY SAFETY PROGRAMS Welcome to Atrium Hospitality. As the GM for a hotel there are many responsibilities that you must focus on. None are more important than safety and preventing injury or harm to your Associates, guests and the physical asset in that order. This guide has been developed to provide a single source for all programs and company direction for safety and preparing for emergencies. We will continue to add updates, programs and SOPs to the Guide as they become available. Save tomorrow. Think about safety today. 1. Atrium Hospitality Safety Guidance Manual . This represents a complete Emergency manual for use in your hotel. The manual must be personalized with the phone numbers and contact information of the hotel team, local utility providers, recommended vendors and outside resources. The manual should be reviewed and updated for accuracy a minimum of once per year and whenever there is turnover in key positions. 2. PLASMA Hotel Inspection . Completed annually by your VPO or designated representative. This is a full audit of your facility to document the findings related to Property Loss and Safety Management. Where deficiencies or recommendations are noted there will be an assignment and follow up dates for completion. You are expected to conduct a similar inspection monthly to ensure compliance and preparedness. A copy of the PLASMA audit in Word form is available to use. This can be assigned by section to members of your Leadership and Safety Committee team.
