CHEMICAL SPILLAGE
PRIORITIES: • Protect guests and Associates from gas inhalation or burns. • Protect the environment. PROCEDURES: 1. Put on full PPE – Full face gas mask, gloves, apron, shoe protection if available. 2. Contain spillage using used towels. 3. Restrict access. 4. Ensure surface drains nearby are covered with towels. 5. Slowly mop up liquid spillages with towels and double bag. If spillage is powdered, collect slowly using clean brush and shovel and double bag. 6. Contact licensed chemical up-lifter for removal if necessary. 7. Notify the MOD. WARNING!
