North American 4085 Ignition Cable

4085 ignition cables are designed to connect high voltage ignition transformers to industrial spark igniters. To tolerate the elevated temperatures common around combustion equipment, 4085 cables are made with nickel plated copper wire with high temperature silicone insulation. Cable designs are available in many lengths and connector styles to fit 4065/4066 transformer secondary and igniter terminals. Most 4085 cables are stocked or assembled from stocked components for quick delivery. Use the configured part number instructions on page 2 to create an orderable part number that fully defines the cable design. See page 3 and 4 for detailed connection descriptions. 4085-ERA cables are sealed aircraft type ignition cables with the ¾“ - 20 threaded collar needed to connect to 4055-ERA and 4051-ERA style igniters. They cannot be used with the normal 1/4" Ø snap-on terminal found on most igniters. See page 6 for details and configuration instructions. Bulk wire and replacement connectors are also available. For bulk wire order part number R980-1794 and specify length in feet (1 ft = 0.305 M). See page 5 for spare parts and assembly instructions. Note: In 2018 R980-1794 red silicone wire replaced both the yellow silicone wire used in 4085-HT cables, and the lower temperature black rubber wire used in all other 4085 cables.
