Note: Any connection type can be configured for either cable end.
This 4085 configuration system fully defines the connection type at both ends of the cable, and removes any question as to which con- nection types are used. Custom cable designs can be ordered without additional engineering, and new connection options can be added in the future. If you need a replacement 4085 cable that has an old “classic” style number use table 2 or 3 below to find the new part number.
DECODING THE OLD "CLASSIC" 4085 PART NUMBERS
The old “classic” 4085 part number system could be confusing, for example if there were no letters in the part number, the ends of the cable were assumed to have the default “standard” con- nectors.
