North American Gas Pilots (for larger burners) 4015 Pilot Sets with 4025 pilots are used to light large capacity North American burners. When properly installed, these premix pilots are unaffected by changes in main burner adjustment, furnace atmosphere or pressure conditions. 4015 PILOT SETS 4015 sets consist of a pilot tip, mixer, air valve, and gas valve. Mixers have inlet and outlet pressure taps, either of which can be used to cross-connect a ratio regulator (purchased separately). This is desirable in some installations where pressure variations at the pilot tip could upset its air/fuel ra- tio. 4025 PILOT TIPS
A 4025 pilot tip is included in the 4015 pilot set and is also available separately. Most 4025 pilot tips have a 10mm threaded connection for an included spark igniter, which is energized by a 6000- volt transformer (purchased separately) Most have threaded discharges (with “T” suffix) to fit sealed-in burners, by far the most common in industry today. Manually ignited tips (with “M” suffix) are furnished with a lighter hole cap. To light a 4025-M with a torch, remove the cap, light the pilot by letting the torch flame enter the open lighting hole until the pilot lights. Replace the lighter hole cap to prevent extra air or flame from passing through the lighter hole.
