That Christ in His second com ing will be manifest to the world only through the eyes of our understanding (Vol. 2, page 138). T he Bible says, i "E v ery eye sh a ll see him ” (Rev. 1:7). 3. That Christ’s second coming will be a gradual revelation (Vol. 2, page 138). The B ible says, "As th e lig h tn in g com - e th o ut of th e E ast, so sh a ll also th e com in g of th e Son of ipan be” (M att. 24:27). 4. That Christ is not coming—He is already here (Vol. 3, page 125). If the critics knew anything about Russell’s position they would see that on the subject of the Second Coming, at least, Russell is in almost perfect agreement with their own position. I.B . S. A. I ^llllilllllill]llllllll!lllllllllllllll!llllllll!inil!llllllllllllllllllllllllllllilllll!lllll!llllllllllllllllllll!ll!li!i:illll!llll^ Two of our good subscribers'1 in Penn sylvania were recently dismissed from a Sunday school because in their prepara tion for teaching their classes they used the helps in The King’s Business. The superintendent and the pastor both de clared th a t 'they were teaching from a Russellite magazine. Other officers of the Sunday school were so dense as to agree with the pastor and the superin tendent who denounced The King’s Business from the platform. If there are points of agreement be tween 'the teachings of the Bible Insti- tutei of Los Angeles and the late self-, styled “Pastor” Russell, (founder of the “International Bible Students Asso ciation” ), we would be glad to know what they are. Russell presents a brand new theory on practically every vital doctrine of Scripture. Probably no one organization has done more to show up the fallacies of Millennial Dawnism than has the Bible Institute. Some prominent higher critics have recently attempted to confuse people by classing the Russellite teachings concerning the second advent of Christ with the teachings of the Moody Bible Institute, Bible Institute of Los Angeles and other similar institutes. This game of confounding Premillennialism with Russellism, Seventh Day Adventism and other cults, has been taken up by many deluded people who do n o t. know enough about their Bibles to see the difference. As to the second coming, the Russell ite books teach the following: 1. That .Jesus will never again come as a human being (Vol. 2, page 107, 122, 125).
