The post holder will be required to successfully manage all projects from initial feasibility study through to the commissioning, project handover and post project evaluation. The successful candidate will boast significant experience of identifying, procuring and managing a variety of projects from inception to completion in a project leadership role. You will have a track record of working effectively either in or with a large scale, complex organisation on projects and buildings of a technically complex nature (ideally including experience of heritage environments). You will also possess strong financial/budgetary management skills and experience, with a high level of commercial acumen. With a strong customer focus essential, it is vital that the Project Manager has exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to work in a collaborative and diplomatic manner in a leadership capacity. The Project Manager will need to quickly build strong and collaborative working relationships with the Club’s CEO, Head of Buildings and Heads of Departments in particular. The successful candidate must demonstrate effective planning and management of projects and ensure delivery of the services to the highest possible standards. Experience dealing with listed building consent/ planning applications and managing Conservation groups is also required. The post holder must ensure high quality architectural, engineering, M&E and surveying advice and in addition compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements. They will take overall responsibility for planning, managing and monitoring the delivery of all FM capital projects and must ensure these projects are delivered on time, within budget, representing value for money and achieving a high level of satisfaction with service departments.
