The above coaches work here for the boys on College general training nights. I wish to thank any coach who has helped our boys privately over the past year. Captains: Jasper Moss, Ryan Primus, Jack Smith ATHLETICS CAPTAINS This year’s captains were Jasper Moss, Ryan Primus, and Jack Smith. They organised the team of athletes who helped set up the track for College championships and helped run the heats for the championships in the lead-up to the event, including judging some events. Normally, when on duty club for our interclub competition on a Saturday, they would have helped organise the boys. This season, however, with Covid-19 reducing competition sizes, we were not given a duty club day. They should have had the added responsibility of helping to manage the team at the Canterbury and South Island Secondary School Championships, but again Covid-19 disrupted plans in March. The Canterbury Championships were postponed until November, when they were on exam leave, and the South Island Championships were cancelled. It was a frustrating year as they had planned for team development. These boys have been excellent members of our College team. I thank them for their

COLLEGE ATHLETICS DAY CHAMPIONSHIPS With Covid-19 restricting numbers, a championship-only competition was held in fine conditions. I would like to thank all the staff and boys who helped make the event a success. Their efforts were much appreciated. It was a massive logistical exercise,
