TTEC’s commitment to sustainability
Environmental management and oversight We share this one planet. All of us are accountable for our actions — and to one another. TTEC’s head of environmental, VP of global real estate operations, is a member of the ESG Executive Council, which is chaired by the company’s president, and overseen by the Board of Directors. Supporting the head of environment are executive leaders from global facilities, site selection, delivery, real estate, procurement, and communications. Our management’s commitment to environmental stewardship focuses on energy conservation, waste reduction, and recycling. We encourage awareness in our employees and empower them to drive impact. To enhance oversight and implementation, we also work closely with our management team and Schneider Electric to evaluate and monitor our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, water, and wastes and identify climate-related risks and opportunities. In 2023, we focused on publicly reporting our environmental footprint. TTEC is first working on collecting data to measure our impact, so we can more effectively manage and reduce our emissions.
TTEC is committed to running our Company in an environmentally responsible manner, taking the necessary and reasonable steps to safeguard the environment from the impact of our operations while meeting our business goals and client expectations. Specifically, TTEC’s environmental policy requires us to:
Consult with our stakeholders, including the local communities where we work, on our environmental protection priorities Monitor environmental performance in proactive fashion Report regularly on TTEC environmental commitments as part of our annual Impact and Sustainability Report
Use energy and natural resources efficiently Reduce waste and emissions Foster environmental awareness and environmentalism among TTEC employees Encourage environmental commitment among our supply chain partners
