2017 ELECTION Directors A LLEN G AYKEN and D EDE L OOP are completing their terms of office, opening two positions on the Board of Directors. Board applications are being accepted through Friday, January 6, at 4PM. To submit your name as a candidate, pick up a form in the Board Office. MEET THE CANDIDATES FORUM MONDAY, JANUARY 23 1 PM-LA PALMA Owners will have an opportunity to meet the candidates for the Board and learn their positions on various topics of interest to you at the Candidates Forum sponsored by the Communications Committee. Following a formal program with questions posed to the candidates by a moderator, there will be an informal coffee reception for owners to meet and speak directly to the candidates.
Ballots will be mailed on February 6. If you want your ballot mailed to you at ORPS and NOT to your address of record (generally your home address) you must notify S USAN M ATTHEW ( smatthew@orps.com ) or 760-904-6643

Your election materials this year will include a ballot asking for your approval of the Second Restated CC&Rs and the Bylaws of the Association. These documents are posted on the Association’s website, along with a letter to owners from the Association’s legal counsel.
To assist in your understanding of the changes being made to these documents, a Summary of Changes is also posted for your review.
Additionally, the Board of Directors, along with the Association’s legal counsel, will be present at a Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, January 17, at 1:30 pm, in the La Palma Clubhouse to address your questions and comments.
