&/#3&'r#3*&'4 VKH COUGARS AGM The Vankleek Hill Cougars Junior Hockey Club will be holding its annual general meeting May 2, at 7 p.m., at Le Chateau restaurant in Hawkesbury. The agenda includes a review of the 2018-2019 financial status, summary of the 2018-2019 Cougars’ season with the National Capital Junior Hockey League, and election of the new club executive. The post of club president and seats on the board of directors are open. The Hawkesbury Recreation Depart- ment is calling on anyone with a food truck or entertainment stand to apply to be a part of this year’s Canada Day festivities in Hawkesbury. la 15 e édition du tournoi des Bâtisseurs, la fin de semaine du 27 avril à Gatineau. Après une ronde préliminaire parfaite, l’équipe de Hawkesbury a dominé tous les niveaux du tournoi. Les Sélects ont finalement remporté la finale contre l’équipe de Gloucester par la marque de 47-21. C’est la quatrième fois qu’elles
remportent des honneurs en tournoi cette saison. Cette équipe de première année au niveau cadet a terminé quatrième en Division 1 dans la ligue de la EOBA (Eastern Ontario Basketball League). Les Sélects représenteront Hawkesbury lors des Championnats de l’Ontario à Ottawa, le weekend prochain.
