On September 24, Wilmington hosted the Fourth Annual Women’s Greenville Cup. This event pairs seven women and the Professional from Wilmington, Bidermann, and Fieldstone in a team competition. Each team played Four-Ball stroke play, counting the best three scores as the total team score. After winning the first two events in both 2023 and 2024, the Wilmington CC team came up big again in 2026, taking the cup back from Fieldstone. A tip of the cap to Britny Whitby, Martha Hays, Ellen Cannon, Nicoll Keeney, Cynthia Koenig, Martha Tschantz and Rita Kozic for a terrific performance. WOMEN’S GREENVILLE CUP
Nineteen women teed it up to compete in the final major of the 18-holer's season on September 15. It was a wonderful turnout, with plenty of golf and fun on the course. Prizes were awarded to the gross & net winners in each flight. Congratulations to Nicoll Keeney, our Senior Champion, who won her fourth consecutive title. Ellen Cannon won the Super Senior Championship, defending her 2024 and 2025 titles. Our new Legends Division came down to the wire with Marcia Raniere coming out victoriously.
