Les Nationals de Rockland ont pris les devants 2-0 dans les séries éliminatoires face aux Prédateurs de La Pêche. Au moment de mettre sous presse, le troisième match devait être disputé, mer- credi. Advenant une victoire des Nats, un match ultime pourrait être disputé, ce ven- dredi, à l’aréna de Rockland (Académie canadienne et internationale de hockey). L’équipe de Sylvain Chaput a remporté le premier match par le compte de 7-5, dimanche, à l’aréna de Rockland. Lundi, ils l’ont aisément emporté par le compte de 6-2, au complexe sportif de la Pêche. AVIS EST DONNÉ que la Cité de Clarence-Rockland tiendra une réunion publique, en conformité avec l’article 15(d) de la Loi sur l’aménagement du territoire, pour donner au public l’occasion de présenter des observations à l’égard du Plan officiel actuellement proposé.
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the City of Clarence- Rockland will hold a Public Meeting, pursuant to Section 15(d) of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, as amended, for the purpose of giving the public an opportunity to make representations in respect of the proposed Official Plan. Thursday, March 22nd, 2012, at 7:15 p.m. Council Chambers, 1560 Laurier Street, Rockland, ON AND TAKE NOTICE that the existing Official Plan for the City of Clarence-Rockland came into effect October 21, 2004 and is subject to a five-year review as mandated by Section 26 of the Planning Act . Consequently, Council has commissioned the preparation of a five- year review of its Official Plan, which will update the policies through a repeal and replacement of the existing Official Plan document. The purpose and effect of updating the Official Plan is to ensure that it has regard to matters of Provincial interest and is consistent with the Provincial Policy Statement (2005) and the Official Plan of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell. No later than three years after the Official Plan comes into effect, the City will commence the preparation of a new Zoning By law in order to implement the Official Plan. AND TAKE NOTICE that the new Official Plan is of general application to the City of Clarence-Rockland’s Urban Area. Accordingly, no key map showing the lands affected by the Plan is attached to this Notice. EVERY PERSON who attends the Public Meeting shall be given the opportunity to make representations in respect of the current proposed Official Plan. Ifyouwish tobenotifiedof theadoptionof theproposed Official Plan, or of the refusal of a request to amend the Official Plan, you must make a written request to Mrs. Monique Ouellet, Clerk, City of Clarence-Rockland, 1560 Laurier Street, Rockland ON K4K 1P7. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a Public Meeting or make written submissions to the City of Clarence-Rockland before the proposed Official Plan is adopted, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell to the Ontario Municipal Board. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a Public Meeting or make written submissions to the City of Clarence-Rockland before the proposed Official Plan is adopted, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party. En séries éliminatoires, tous les paris sont ouverts. C’est ce qu’ont constaté les Castors de Clarence en affrontant les GoldenKnights d’OttawaOuest en demi- finale des séries éliminatoires de la division Métro de la Ligue de hockey junior de l’Est ontarien. En date du 28 février, la série était égale 2-2. Rappelons qu’en saison régulière, les Castors n’avaient subi qu’une défaite en sept matchs face aux Knights.
