— Timber to timber joints for use in trussed rafter roofs must be designed in accordance with EN1995–1–1:2004+A2:2014 — Nails must meet edge distance requirements to have load carrying capacity — A nail plate should be positioned on each side of the joint. Care should be taken to ensure there are equal nails fixed from each side and no nail clashes
