UMADAOP CONFERENCE 2016

We have been blessed by our season with her and she will forever remain in our hearts.

Jacqueline Rios-Jackson was born on May 4, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Fernando, Sr. and Willie Jean Adams-Rios. She was a 1973 graduate of East High Golden Bears High School. Ms. Rios-Jackson worked tirelessly to improve the lives of the underserved until her death on May 8, 2015. Anyone who knew her knew her was aware of the fact that she loved the Lord and lived a God-centered life. She was a firm believer in God and diligently served the church. Although Youngstown and UMADAOP’s of Ohio lost one of its most steadfast soldiers – we relish in the many ways she has enriched our lives. She also leaves to celebrate her precious memory: her father and stepmother, Fernando and Candida Rios of Florida; three sisters Carol DeHart of Columbus, Martha (Darrell) Frazier of Youngstown and Rita Rios (Allen Thomas) of Youngstown; four brothers, Fernando, Jr. (Melissa) Rios of Youngstown, Danny (Amber)

Rios of Liberty, Taylor Adams of Columbus, and James (Alethea) Adams of Youngstown; three stepsisters; one stepbrother; and a host of other relatives and friends, including a special cousin Parthenia “Par” Harris. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Willie Jean Adams and James Taylor Dobyne. Our beloved Jackie was a vivid example of what UMADAOP’s of Ohio stands for. She exemplified hard work, integrity and a genuine spirit of helping others. We have been blessed by our season with her and she will forever remain in our hearts.
