Compagnie d'édition André Paquette Inc., publisher of bilingual community newspapers in Hawkesbury (Tribune-Express, Le Carillon), Lachute (L'Argenteuil), Rockland (Vision), and Embrun (Reflet-News) is seeking the services of a Duties : • Write articles on a variety of issues, including items stemming from municipal meetings, community events, sports, arts, etc. • Lead a newsroom of journalists, proofreading articles and developing plans for each weekly paper • Take pictures and record videos • Layout the newspaper using InDesign • Prepare articles for the website and mobile application Qualifications : • Training in journalism or a relevant field; or relevant experience. • Bilingual: the ability to communicate in English and French; the ability to write well in both languages will be considered a strong asset.
