miss a beat, reflecting and underscoring the mood of every scene, every song. The costumes, makeup and sets evoked the look and feel of Argentina in the 1940s and 50s. The complex set movements and lighting changes were seamlessly managed by Ben Davis and Agave Yu under the watchful eye of Grant Bennett. David is grateful to have shared the experience with colleagues from Rangi Ruru and College. “College and Rangi have forged very special relationships based on mutual trust and respect. Both schools boast specialist performing arts teachers who are committed to and passionate about the role of the arts in learning. And we’re proud of our record of collaborating on highly successful senior and junior productions. Evita is now part of that tradition and is a show we can all be exceptionally proud of.” “For so many different reasons, it will go down in history as one of our more memorable shows.”
