CASSELMAN | Sunday afternoon skies werecloudyandgloomybutspiritswere brightandbuoyantinfrontofthearena when the Casselman Vikings Victory Parade came to a halt. Dozens of home fans lined up along St- Isidore Street and other portions of the parade route to cheer, wave pom-poms andribbonsastheparadeoffiretrucksand sponsors’ vehicles trundled by on their way from the Subway Shop at the 401 overpass to their final destination in front oftheJ.R.BrissonSportsComplex.Holding their three season trophies aloft as the parade moved on, the Casselman Vikings waved back to the hometown crowds as they and the village celebrate a championship season for the junior B hockey club. “Weappreciateeverythingyoudidforus,” saidSylvainDignard,Vikingsclubpresident, in his address to the crowd in front of the arena.
