wood Presbyterian Hospital was ab solutely amazed. He’s Dr. Sterling Pollock. He seemed as thrilled as the rest of us and joined us in praising the Lord. After going through this I believe faith is belief in action. If I hadn’t acted upon that faith I might still be in that same condition today. I think it parallels our salvation. God has given us the gift but until we receive and act upon it we really don’t have it. I can’t say that it is God’s perfect will to heal everyone but I do know what He did for me. I’m certain we often limit God through lack of faith just as Matthew 13:58 records. We make our God too small when in fact He is so willing and so able to help us in our times of need. END. Your Prayer Requests Each morning at nine the editor ial staff of King's Business maga zine gathers for prayer. Over the years God has answered the heart- cry of thousands. Should you have a request we would count it a priv ilege to take it to the throne of grace. Your request will be held in the strictest confidence. hadn’t had lunch. We had been read ing and praying and talking since 11. I was hungry and when we ordered lunch it didn’t occur to me that God might not have heard our prayers. I ordered a big steak and mushroom sauce and a salad with roquefort dressing and a cup of black coffee. It was wonderful. My stomach didn’t swell and there were no pains. I just praised God. That night I had fried onion rings and I told Mother and Ralph (my husband), and we all praised God. Three days later the old pains came back. I just dropped to my knees and said, “Thank you Lord for heal ing me.” And the pain left. That was two-and-one-half years ago and I’ve been in really perfect health since that time. In 1950, at Colleen’s invitation, Georgia Lee went to a meeting of the Hollywood Christian Group. That night she opened her heart to Christ. One morning our Scripture reading was on faith and after the prayer time our discussion continued on faith. I knew that whatever would glorify God the most was what I wanted. From our discussion that morning we concluded that faith was a gift from God and that I should ask God for the faith to ask for a healing and to receive the healing and to believe the healing. I realized this was something that I hadn’t done. The three of us (two Presbyterians and a Baptist) knelt there in Delta’s offices and prayed in this way, thank ing God for the answer. By now it was. 3 p.m. and we ^ eorgia Lee started in show business when she was three. She was bom in Madisonville, Ohio on August 7, 1928. Before her conversion she Was under contract to various studios play ing a variety of roles. She starred in her own TV show called “ The Georgia Lee Show” and also in ABC’s TV “ Stage Two Review” plus many other national and local shows. In an effort to find a right relation ship with God she read the Bible through three times, studied Buddh ism and Mohammedanism and still had no peace for her seeking soul. One of her closest friends during these days of seeking was Hollywood star let Colleen Townsend. Together at the movie studio they would talk
