GOD'S GI FTS God's gifts a re all good. — "Every 1 creature (creation) of God is good.': 1 Tim. 4 : 4 :. Not one is to be r e j e c t e d .—"No t h i ng to be r e f u s e d ." 1 Tim . 4 : 4 :. They a re absolutely f r e e .—" S h a ll Hé not freely give us all t h i n g s ?" Ro. 8:32. They a re to be e n j o y e d .—"Who giv- e th us all things richly to e n j o y ." 1 Tim. 6:17! They a r e n ot to be a b u s e d .—" Th ey t h at use this world as not abusing it." 1 Co. 7:31. They a r e to be profited by. — "To every man to profit withal." 1 Co. 12:7. They a re to be s h a r e d .—" To do good and to communicate (share) forget not."- Heb. 13:16. We a re to be satisfied w i th our por- t i o n .—" Be content with such things as ye have." THANKFULNESS TO THE GREAT GIVER There are Jjages of space in Scrip- t u re on Thanksgiving. It seems one of the very e n ds of creation and t he new creation to elicit it. It is right, good, and blesses man more than t he blessings themselves, and pleases God as full recompense -for His loving kind= nésses. We should be in a state of gratitude. -—''Be ye t h a n k f u l ." Còl. 3:15. Th a n k f u l n e ss should supplant t he old f o o l i s h n e s s . - ^ ' But r a t h er giving of thanks'." Epijf. 5:4. Ev e r y t h i ng was ma de to beget t h a n k- f u l n e s s .—"Wh i ch G o d created to be re- ceived with thanksgiving." 1 Tim. 4:3.
