Requirements Candidates/post holders will be expected to demonstrate the following
Essential (E) / Desirable (D)
Education Recognised project management and/or programme management qualification (e.g. APM, MSP, PRINCE2) E Member of a related Property based Professional Body (such as Chartered Surveyor, Chartered Building Surveyor or Chartered Architect or Chartered Structural, Civil or Mechanical Engineer, or BIFM) E Experience Proven track record of development, implementation and delivery of property services, including but not limited to strategy and operational plan development and implementation; and assisting in the development of policy, practice, processes and procedures relating to the business. E Must have proven track record in dealing effectively with property solutions, including developing options appraisals and business cases. E
Programme and project management experience. Advanced knowledge and demonstrable experience of overseeing the delivery of multiple projects at any one time. Demonstrated experience in running multi-disciplinary teams, driving efficiencies and developing, implementing and monitoring performance improvement programmes.

Significant management experience at a senior level.

Experience of implementing effective and innovative supply chain solutions (particularly construction industry consultants) and using these to drive out value from an end user perspective.

Knowledge Demonstrated knowledge of the construction industry in the UK including hands on knowledge and experience of types of construction contracts, both traditional and modern partnering style contracts. E Advanced communication skills and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written; and ability to communicate at any level as required by the organisation. E Able to work to tight deadlines, managing and prioritising time effectively. E Forward thinking, innovative and able to anticipate and find solutions to problems. E
