METAL WORK AND ALUMINIUM FLASHINGS

S toneyford Engineering fabricated and erected the entrance canopy and associated steelwork for OHMG’s Lisburn Primary & Community Care Centre project. The team also installed aluminium checkerplates to the car parking ramps, again fabricated at Stoneyford Engineering’s on site workshop.

The family firm has been operating with great success for 30 years. Based in Lisburn, it provides services and products to both domestic and industrial clients, covering all areas of steel fabrication from aluminium and stainless steel fabrications to structural steel and artistic steel sculptures. They’ve also achieved BS-EN1090 Exc 1&2 CE standard for all structural steel engineering. Stoneyford Engineering’s founder, Declan Phillips, said the project went without a hitch. “However, working in the healthcare sector is a departure from our normal portfolio,” said Declan. “Our work is mostly in London for clients such as Fulham Football Club. We also carry out sculpture work; currently we’re working on a big sculpture installation in ‘Derry. And at the other end of the scale, we produce nesting boxes for swifts. There’s not much we can’t fabricate!”
